YpsiGlow 2022 October 28 7-9 pm

We’re taking over Go Ice Cream, 10 North Washington Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Our performance will be creative and original, and has flavors from Maurice Sendak’s picture book, published in 1963. We hope our Pop Up Performance and Installation inspires you to move, and groove with us.

Psst. The multi-artist ‘Zine, Intertextuality, which I curated and published in 2021, will be available for sale. I felt inspired during Pandemic Summer-the-second, and put out a call to some colleagues and friends. Artists from across the United States responded. Many of the pieces are by dancers, musicians, playwrights, etc. in addition to poets!

Christina-Marie is a writer, educator and Somatics, Yoga and Creativity Workshop Leader. In addition to her current scholarship and artistic practice, she is a Very Special Arts Educator, Registered Somatics Movement Educator, and a performer in dance, voice, and media, with a specialization in installation/ site performance.

Brief Biography

CM Sears is an interdisciplinary artist and teaching artist motivated to make a difference.

Her work has been called: dynamic, somatic, surreal, and engaging. “Evocative.” says a recent reader, and “Moves like silk on the wind.”

In addition to her work in poetry, yoga and dance, she is an accomplished grant-writer and project administrator, winning and managing private, city, and State grants since 2000.

Her passions include Restorative Justice, Innovation of form and practice, music, poetry, flash fiction, lyric essays and multi-disciplinary projects. “Searching for my people.” Message me today.
